April Fools!
After much consideration we have decided to take the advice of many avid Altar of Storms realm forum posters. After this raid reset we will be transferring to
US-Mal'Ganis - one of the servers of the forefront of progression raiding.
First, I would like to take a moment to reflect and thank many people during our time here on this incredible server.
We first transferred here about six months ago and immediately fell in love with the realm community. Our biggest competition originally was a guild named
Shadowstep Falcon Punch. Unfortunately, to our dismay SFP choose to go the path we are choosing now. Transferring to a much more competitive realm to truly show their talent. I know Broly made the correct decision for his guild, because what good would it be to tank with Shadowmourne if you don't have as many people to see it as possible?
Another notable guild for us has been
Epidemic. Gorty and his crew are some incredible players. I will never forget the kindness Epidemic showed when they were in the process of selling Ironbound Proto-Drakes and they offered to give our guild officers a full clear to complete our achievements,
for free! I asked why would they be that nice to Gorty's response "I'm santa!" Wow, what a guy.
Finally,
Instability. Even gear cannot hold these talented players back. The 9th reincarnation of Instability proved to be the most potent. Only mere days after reforming they were wiping the floor with PvE content in Naxx-10 gear! Unfortunately, they also had alternative motives. Seeing as how they only raid with Gladiator arena players it only made sense to transfer to the most competitive battlegroup in WoW: Nightfall - or otherwise known as "BG 4." Regardless, they were an incredible group of players and very influential to our guild.
To the forum community: thank you for providing us with the
endless wealth of knowledge you posses. Without you we would be a mere speck on the map of guilds that reside on AoS.
While there are almost too many to name I do want to specifically thank several people individually.
Mothug, it was you who showed us the ropes on how to truly progress on this realm. Whether it be our alt's or our mains. You really are the most powerful enhancement shaman this game has to offer. When it comes to being enhance, you really didn't leave anything unchecked. All shaman should take notes from you my friend!
Skillmare, without you we wouldn't have any idea how to post on the realm forum. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for allowing us to post. I believe it was you who originally suggested we should play on a better realm, and you are (and always have been) right.
Chillyz, your continuous support of our guild is why we're still here (until Tuesday). When other people exclaimed "you guys are nothing but average players on a subpar realm" it was you who put them in their place. If I'm going to miss anyone the most it is definitely you.
I'm so sorry if I missed anyone or anything, but I'm holding back tears as I finish this post. I really love Altar of Storms and hate to part with the amazing community here. So all I have left to say is:
