Encounter: Deathbringer Saurgang (25) Hardmode
PoV: Rachen (Shadow Priest)
Size: 488.38 MB (HD)

FileFront HD
http://www.filefront.com/15738153/Saurf ... dmode.wmv/

YouTube HD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc4dTlWvEOw

Music:
You Wish (Interlude) - Breathe Carolina
Stronger - Trust Company

EDIT: The music on the first upload was messed up in the intro, so I did a second upload. If you care about that kind of thing, the music lines up pretty well, so I would take a second look.

EDIT2: So even the new upload still has funky music. This is frustrating. Oh well, if you want good quality, download from Filefront.

Lol...the joys of full renders with slight issues. What to do...oh yeah...render again, and put off your guildies with excuses like "I'm working on it." They'll understand for 5 minutes.

The rendered version is fine, its just Youtube. I don't know why when I upload it the music gets funky. It's perfect in the version from Filefront

Yeah, I had those problems too. Unfortunately it's either the file, the upload process to YouTube, or a combination of both. I ran into these issues as well a few times, and with a 500mb file taking ~1 hour to upload to YouTube, only to fail once you get it done...it get's a little annoying.

Good thing it takes your system 1/2 the time of mine...nothing's worse than a failure @ 98% of a render that took over an hour.

Yeah, it must be the file (even though it plays correctly while NOT on youtube). I suppose I could render it again and then upload again, but I don't think its that big of a deal. Like I said, if ppl care enough about the music and how it lines up with the video I recommend downloading from Filefront. If it were something like Lich King Heroic kill I would put more effort into making the youtube version work, but its w/e atm.

lol...yeah...I'm with you on that assessment. Just sucks not to know what's causing the fault in the audio...I suppose if it never duplicates itself on future videos it won't be an issue.

What do you use to record and do you record at full or half resolution? What is the resolution you record at and what does it output as if you record at half?

I use Fraps to record. I do it at Full, 1920 x 1080. If you record at half it does just that, half of the resolution: 960 x 540.

EDIT: Fixed

1920x1800 is not a resolution :o 1920x1080 ...probably just a typo.

Did they change Fraps so that it takes less CPU up and not so laggy?

Slightly (the 3.0+ updates) but it's still taxing.

If anyone has a registered version that doesn't mind me using their info so I can record fights, that would be awesome.
